When I had to replace my range that I really liked, and was no longer made. , I had seriously doubted I would find one I liked as much, nor would I find one that would slide in properly in my granite counter tops. This range fit right in, looks great, and I am still learning how to use all the features it has. Great product, great price; I couldn't be happier with my new range. Now I finally have all Kitchenaid appliances in my kitchen.

Recently moved into a townhome and needed to update kitchen including taking out a wall between kitchen and dining room. Needed a slide in range and found that they are quite expensive! Found this one that was on sale and love it so far! Sleek design. I have worked in many restaurants in the past and this stove has the feel of an industrial style stove. The burners are very responsive and the settings for stove simple to follow. The only criticism I have is that the lower drawer does not slide easily. I'm an avid baker but haven't had time to bake since moving- looking forward to seeing how this stove does!

I bought this 2 years ago and have not any problems with operation. You only need to be careful when removing the top grates they can scratch the stainless steel.

We bought this stove 3 years ago. It has actually only been used for about 18 months (we are away for the Winter). A month ago we started. Having trouble with the oven. It would not light. It was repaired on November 23 at a cost of $750. Parts and labour. Yesterday the oven quit again.

The oven does a decent job although it is hard to keep clean. I've had to replace the control knobs twice since the writing rubs off when you clean them. This is a huge defect and makes it a challenge to use, especially on the triple tier flame burner.

Overheats and oven is locked shut for good

While using 2 of the main burners the digital display blanks out. After stovetop has cooled the display works again. 2nd problem One day for no apparent reason the oven door decided to lock shut. I followed the directions to get it to disengage the lock. But no luck. I had to get creative and jimmy the door open with an old wire coat hanger. Then I was able to get to the screws that would allow me to remove the display screen so I could get to the broke lock mechanism. This mechanism costs 130 dollars. I am probably just going to run the oven with out the oven lock until it dies. I don't see a 130 investment being cost effective.

the worst range I have ever had

I am an experienced cook and have not only used but installed many different ranges for years without any problem. I have bought this stove when it was a new model. The oven does not heat enough and never did, the broiler basically does not work at all, it never did, I had to give up on cooking something halfway because it just would not get cooked. The top burners do not have the standard level of power output excepting one. Furthermore, from the beginning it always gave a terrible gas like smell when the oven was turned on, I called the company and they said I had to call an appliance repair company, for new stove! I did, called the gas company as well, finally after six years of this I had my carbon monoxide alarm go off,fortunately as we were all getting sick. Now I have to get a new stove after this company produced a defective product that they did not want to take any responsibility for. I don't know who they get to rate their products.

This range is extremely loud when using the oven. The fan screaches and whirls and is very annoying. I have had maintainence out and they can not fix it. I can not use the self clean option...it blows out the mother board. I have had it replaced twice. This unit is a real lemon!

Thus far we are delighted with this range. Apparently all "slide in ranges" are more expensive then their counterparts. All features are sensical i.e. flip over burner grate to hold a wok and placement of different burner types on range. Oven "clicks" quite a bit when igniting and maintaining temperature.Easy to clean and attractive finish.

I bought this unit in 2012 at my local Sears. Within two years I had to replace the BTU and the unit also heats unevenly. About a month ago the oven door got stuck and eventually came off the hinges! Its really close to Thanksgiving and now I have to pay an estimated $250 to get it repaired. I too thought I was purchasing a quality product...and was wrong

This stove beeps as the controls are in the front. Grates are high off burner and it takes a long time to even boil water. Grates are heavy and scratch bottom of pans. Popping noise when oven is lit. There are pleanty of other good stoves on the market. Stay away from this model.

We purchased the range and had it delieved and installed. We were disappointed that it did not come with the back filler piece to close the gap between the top of the range and the wall. The 15 year old GE range we replaced provided this filler piece. The hassle of having to fabricate something that should have been provided took the joy out of the new range which works well and looks nice. It dropped my rating from Excellent to average.

I have had this range 2 years and ready to move on. The heat it generates is excessive when the oven is in use. Hot air blows out the vent on the cook service and out the bottom on your feet. Also, when the oven is in use there is a continual "popping" noise. I learned this is due to the oven regulating it's temperature. If I use the fan above the stove the flame flickers and creates uneven temperature under my pots and pans. This is a drop in range but I could not get the piece to fill in the back. A contractor had to make something for it. Kits I sent for specified for this model did not work. The only thing I really like about this range is the removable grates for ease of cleaning the cooktop surface. Also, it is a nice sleek design and sure looks nice but other features make it a thumbs down for me.

I am enjoying my new range, especially the convection baking feature. There are four issues that I have with my new range: 1. I can just barely touch the oven control, and the various features come on. Of course, I can turn them off easily enough, but it's an annoyance. 2. The front right burner will not always activate when I turn it on, and I have to use a candle lighter to turn it on. My husband also has this problem when he uses the stove. At first I thought we were just not yet accustomed to the new range, but we have had no problem with the other three burners. 3. I have gotten something on one of the surface burners and the burner grates, and nothing with which I have tried to clean it will get it off so it is noticeable. I have used Barkeeper's Friend which is always very effective with other things. Nonabrasive plastic scrubbers are not effective. 4. I would have liked to have had another triple tier burner. I usually have to use more than one large pan when I cook. I am very happy with the way my range performs, and I like the simplicity of cleaning the porcelain top. If you have suggestions in addition to those in the manual for cleaning the grates and the burner, I would love to have them. Thank you Glenda Simmons

I'm going to start out with a Good rating because this was just installed a few days ago in our renovated kitchen and I've only heated one thing on it so far. I wanted to comment on some of the other reviews about the 3 other burners not cooking quickly. If you read the manual that came with the stove you can adjust the flame output on each burner. I can't wait to get started making meals again for my hubby and me and testing out the convection options. Oh, and since I want to start making bread I'm excited about the Bread Proofing feature.

This range came with our brand new home and the larger right back burner would not ignite within the first week of use. Since it was under warranty a local service company came to "fix" the burner. The burner worked for a year but then just stopped igniting again. I called the same local service company but had to pay $220 to "fix" the same issue because it wasn't under warranty anymore. Here I am a year later with a burner that will not ignite and this time I complained to the local service company because I was not going to pay for anything that has not been functioning to begin with. They sent me to KithchenAid who had record of the repairs but could only offer a year warranty for $480. I will never buy KithchenAid appliances!!

I bought this over a month ago and it was delivered with a scratch and a burner that had some brown sticky stuff on the main burner. The burner grate on the left was broke. They has service replace it and it was the wrong one. A replacement was ordered over 6 weeks ago and still do not have it. Bought this product Slyman Brothers in St. Louis Mo.

Moved in to our home and saw what looks to be a beautiful gas range. Problem is it shuts off when it gets too hot. We just ran a self clean on it, it shut off mid process, and now we can not get it to power back on.

I bought this back in january. It looks great was easy to install and works very well. There are a few flaws. 1 the burners are so far from the grates the flame heats the handles of the pots. 2 when using a griddle the burners are sized so different the griddle is hotter on half then the other.

I bought this range to go with my frig and dishwasher of the same brand. I love it and all the features. Only annoying thing is when I am NOT using convection, the oven fan is on constantly. Also, some chicken soup spilled over and the black stove top is now stained within the paint near that burner. I cleaned it up within the hour and do not understand why it did that. I love the warming drawer, I have used it alot in the last 4 months since I have purchased it. The front pad is easy to use and I LOVE the burners, especially the most powerful one which I can boil water in just a few minutes. But a note on that- if that burner gets too hot, that nasty oven fan turns on and you have to listen to it for a good 15 minutes. Other than the fan (never had it on my other stove) it is a joy to cook on. Sorry but black stove top is VERY hard to clean so instead of drying it with paper towels, a clean dish towel works the best after a soapy cloth to make it grease and streak free.
